Tales To the yet to be

Commissioned by Grimm & Co with funding from Children's Capital of Culture, Tales To The Yet To Be is a publication created around the stories, drawings and ideas developed by children through a series of creative workshops and writing sessions.

Working alongside the workshop leader and the wider team behind the project, I was given a collection of the children’s concepts, stories and illustrations, which I then brought together into a fully realised publication through illustration, editorial design and typography. Centred around the idea of a “time capsule” to be rediscovered in 25 years’ time, the book documents the children’s wonderfully strange, chaotic and imaginative interpretations of the past, present and future.

Every visual element throughout the publication was created by me, while remaining completely led by the creativity and imagination of the children themselves.
